Solid Bronze
Since first being used 4,000 years ago by the Greeks and Romans,
bronze has been a favorite metal for casting by artisans. Although
an expensive material to work with, bronze ages gracefully over
decades and centuries.

We have one sundial cast in solid bronze. In lieu of a
patina finish, we leave the castings unaltered so the natural
reddish hues are emphasized.

Based on the Romanesque architecture of 12th century France, which is preserved in period churches and cathedrals throughout Europe. The sundial's mottoe reads, "Amidst the flowers, I tell the hours."
